Laminated Floors

Laminate flooring is made up of multiple layers of materials that are fused. The top layer is a transparent, protective layer designed to resist scratches and stains. The 2nd layer consists of decorative paper, printed with the pattern and texture simulating wood, stone, or any design of choice. The middle layer, a high-density fiberboard board, provides stability and strength to the flooring in which the locking system is cut, which locks the panels together. The bottom layer, "backing," provides additional support and moisture resistance.
